These guys are pretty much prevelant worldwide. Locally here they are called "Lawin". In Singapore they are called Singapore Bald Eagle, even though they are not an eagle. They are known to be scavengers and  feed on almost anything thus they are  very important to the eco-system in the disposal of dead animals. They can be seen in pairs or groups of up to 25 or more rideing the thermals. They are a very beautiful raptors.
