| This is a juvenile Philippine Hawk Eagle. Someone was trying to sell him to me. Needless to say, after 3 days of negotiations, a sting operation was set up with the individual and the Eagle was confiscated.There is bad scaring across the head from an injury. He is also blind in the eye you see; more than likely trauma induced. Also there was a wound at the wing elbow with fluids leaking and bone sticking out.The wounds have since healed with treatment and he has flight capability and eats on his own. He is however a lifelong resident now. |
