On 1 Dec recieved one baby Blue Naped parrot that I confiscated from a pet store trying to sell. Appeared slightly malnourished but doin fine today as of 7 Dec 2006.
3 Dec recieved one baby Scop-owl from DENR appetite was good, no abnormalities, Owl was turned over to another center for future breeding, is unreleaseable as it cannot fend for itself and needs hand fed.
7 Dec Recieved 3 baby pythons, 7 Philippine box turtles, and 1 baby Philippine monkey. The monkey I would guess is less than 4 months old. Hand and wrist severely swollen from a rope they had tied to it.
The turltles, pythons, and monkey were confiscated at a trade show by DENR Agents.
All will be released with the exception of the monkey, which will be treated and turned over to another center which deals with and houses monkeys. |
